Hold-ups

Hold-ups also known as thigh highs are stockings that have a band of elastic sown into the top of them. By having this band in place it ensures the stockings stay in place. In addition hold ups do not require a garter belt and do not show suspender bumps through skirts. Another benefit of hold ups are that they are perceived as more hygienic (especially in warmer and humid climates).

Cuban heel	A stocking with a heel made with folded over and sewn reinforcement.
